What is script development
Scripting refers to the process of writing scripting languages in computer programs. Script is a programming language that can be interpreted and executed at runtime, typically used to quickly and flexibly accomplish specific tasks such as automation, batch processing, data processing, or system management.
Script languages are different from compiled languages in that they typically do not require pre compilation into low-level code, but are interpreted and executed line by line by the interpreter at runtime. Therefore, script development has the following advantages:
1. Easy to learn: Script languages are usually easy to learn and provide concise syntax and commands, making script writing more convenient.
2. Fast iteration: Scripts can be debugged and modified directly at runtime, without the need for recompilation and deployment like compiled languages.
3. Cross platform support: Most scripting languages are cross platform and can run on different types of operating systems, such as Windows, macOS, Linux, etc.
Script development is widely used in various fields, including web development, game development, data analysis, system management, network security, etc. Some popular scripting languages include JavaScript, Python, Bash shell, Perl, etc.
